1. Information we collect
The calculator requires no account or registration of your name, email or contact details. If you email support, we receive your sender address, subject, message and attachments through Resend, Cloudflare Workers and Kakao Mail. The table below and the Arcbyte Privacy Policy describe the providers, international transfers and retention rules. This notice applies together with that policy and the Haejigak addendum.
The memberships and usage you enter are not stored on our servers. If you share a result, those values (including custom names) are included in the share link, and when the link is opened they are transmitted to and processed temporarily by our server to calculate the result and preview image.
What we process, by function:
Request handling: when you open a page or a share link, connection information (including your IP address) and the values in the link are used only while handling the request and are not kept.
Server error records: when a server error occurs, we keep the status code, request method, path without the query string, time, and an error message with addresses, IP addresses and similar details removed, for up to 7 days. IP addresses and query strings are not included.
Anonymous usage counts: we keep only the event name, record type, page type, membership type, verdict, language, sharing method and counts. They never include your IP address, device identifiers, cookies, usage numbers or the values in a share link, so they cannot identify you.
Support email: if you email us, your sender address, subject, message and attachments are processed through Resend, Cloudflare Workers and Kakao Mail.
2. How we use it
To provide the service, analyze usage to improve it, fix errors, and answer your emails.
3. Retention and deletion
We keep anonymous usage counts for up to 3 months and server error records (status code, request method, path, time, cleaned error message) at Cloudflare for up to 7 days, then delete them.
Resend's standard email-data retention period under our plan is 30 days. Backups and legal retention exceptions follow the provider's security and privacy policies. The copy of a support email in Kakao Mail is kept for one year after the inquiry is resolved, then deleted.
The support-forwarding Worker does not retain execution or invocation logs or separately store email subjects, messages or attachments. To avoid duplicate automatic replies, the sender's email address is stored as a Cloudflare KV key with a 24-hour expiration. KV uses central stores and caches in locations where data is read; we have not yet established the countries in which this address may be processed or stored under our current account.
4. Service providers and international transfers
We entrust the following providers with processing to run the service and answer your emails. Transfers to providers abroad are processing and storage necessary to perform our contract with you, disclosed in this policy under Article 28-8(1)3 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. Data is sent over an encrypted network when you use the service or send an email.
Cloudflare's general guidance describes processing network metadata for its application services in the United States and Europe (https://www.cloudflare.com/trust-hub/gdpr/). That guidance does not let us establish the individual countries within Europe or the actual processing and storage countries for every function below. Arcbyte does not use regional restriction settings. Whether each function stores data, and for how long, is shown below. Items that are not stored are used only while handling the request.
If you do not want this transfer, do not use the service or email us. In that case you cannot use the service, or we cannot answer by email.

5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data at any time by contacting us below. If you are in the EU/UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Anonymous usage counts do not use cookies either. We use one cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language. You can block it and still use the calculator.
7. Children under 14
This tool is not designed for children under 14. The calculator requires no account or contact registration. Where consent is required to process a child's personal data, we obtain and verify consent from their legal representative.

We will notify you in the service at least 7 days before changes to this policy take effect (30 days for changes that are unfavorable to you).
